Shinyoung Securities-Dong-A University Hospital, Business Agreement to Promote Miscarriage Donation Trusts

Shinyoung Securities announced on the 23rd that it has signed a legacy donation trust business agreement with Dong-A University Hospital to promote a culture of donation.

The agreement ceremony was held at Shinyoung Securities APEX Private Club in Haeundae. Both parties agreed on the need to actively utilize legacy donation trusts to encourage donations in our society. To this end, they agreed to cooperate in discovering and connecting planned donors and promoting legacy donation trusts.

A legacy donation trust is a contract made between a donor and a trust company for the purpose of donation. Once the trust contract is signed, the donor’s assets are transferred to the trust company’s name, and upon the donor’s death, the assets are safely and promptly transferred to the donation organization’s name. Even after the contract is signed, the donor can directly manage the assets during their lifetime, and if desired, continue to have the assets managed and operated through the trust company after death, thereby continuing the donation.

As part of services for donors to Dong-A University Hospital, Shinyoung Securities plans to provide various customized asset succession consulting services.
