Naju City in Jeollanam-do will hold a hongeo mukbang SNS certification event for 40 visitors during the 20th Yeongsanpo Hongeo Festival.
According to the city on the 23rd, the 20th Yeongsanpo Hongeo Festival is scheduled to be held from the 24th to the 26th at the Yeongsanpo Riverside Citizen Sports Park area.
At the festival site, visitors who certify photos of eating hongeo dishes such as hongeohoe (fermented skate sashimi), hongeo samhap (fermented skate with pork and kimchi), and hongeo jjim (steamed hongeo) on mobile SNS will be entered into a draw to win a hongeo assorted sashimi pack (for 10 people) or coffee coupons (for 30 people).
To participate, first subscribe or follow one of Naju City's SNS channels (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or Kakao Channel), then upload a hongeo mukbang certification photo on your personal SNS with the setting set to 'public.'
Next, access the event Naver form (link) posted on Naju City's SNS, and enter your name, certification photo, SNS review link, etc., in order to complete participation.
The event period is from the 24th to the 28th, and any festival visitor can participate.
Meanwhile, this year's Yeongsanpo Hongeo Festival, under the theme "Taste hongeo~ Enjoy music~ Be dyed by poppies~," will feature various food, experiences, contests, and celebratory performances over three days.
In particular, at the hongeo sales booth, aged hongeo can be purchased at a 50% discounted price, and meals are sold at around 10,000 KRW, with side dishes priced around 30,000 KRW, offering festival foods at reasonable prices.
Near the festival site, a 40,000㎡ flower field is in full bloom with red poppies that look like a red carpet, captivating visitors' eyes and footsteps.
The festival opening ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on the 24th. Celebratory performances on the 25th and 26th afternoons will feature Mr. Trot singers Kim Hee-jae, Woo Yeon-i, and Muryong, expected to add excitement to the festival.
