[Breaking] Supreme Court Rules “Defendants Detained in Separate Cases Must Also Be Appointed Public Defenders”…Change in Precedent

On the 23rd, the Supreme Court en banc ruled that if an arrest warrant is issued and executed for a separate case, or if a guilty verdict is confirmed in another criminal case resulting in detention, it can be considered a mandatory reason for appointing a public defender.
