The Gyeongnam Regional Economic Education Center at Changwon National University provided economic education to soldiers in military units within the province.
Changwon National University announced on the 23rd that, in response to the growing importance of economic education for young soldiers, it had implemented this educational program.
The goal of this program is to help soldiers efficiently manage their increased salaries during military service, practice sound consumption habits, understand the necessity of saving, and establish proper economic perspectives.
Changwon National University explained that it designed and organized the program to enable soldiers to maintain stable financial lives.
One soldier who participated in the program said, "I wasn't interested in money management or economics before, but now I'm intrigued."
Another soldier commented, "It was directly related to real life and will definitely be necessary in the future."
Kang Bokyung, head of the education center, stated, "We will continue to provide customized economic education for soldiers so that they can acquire basic concepts and knowledge about the economy and practice rational financial habits."
