Payment of Relocation Settlement Funds Totaling 70 Million Won at 1 Million Won Each
Boryeong City in Chungnam Province revealed that as a result of implementing various youth policies tailored to the perspectives of young people last year, youths are settling in Boryeong to start new lives.
The city announced on the 23rd that it invested 5.5 billion KRW last year to carry out 40 youth policy projects.
According to the city, 70 young workers relocated to Boryeong, each receiving a relocation settlement grant of 1 million KRW, totaling 70 million KRW.
Additionally, 5,761 people accessed the smart job information system, which allows young people to easily view job information at a glance.
It is estimated that hundreds to thousands of young people found employment through the job information system.
Accordingly, on the 22nd, the city held a Youth Policy Committee meeting chaired by Vice Mayor Gugi-seon and confirmed a youth policy budget of 5.2 billion KRW for this year.
This year, the city plans to implement 13 job-related projects, including the Manse Youth Startup Support Project, and 8 housing-related projects, such as annual salary support for young workers under the age of 40 to help them settle.
The annual salary support for young workers will be provided on a sliding scale from a minimum of 200,000 KRW to a maximum of 400,000 KRW depending on household size.
