Subscribe to Seoul District No.1 YouTube Channel ‘my Mapo’ and Enjoy a Cool Summer

Mapo-gu (District Mayor Park Gang-su) is promoting a ‘Subscribe & Like’ event using Mapo-gu’s official YouTube channel ‘my Mapo’ to strengthen communication with residents.


‘my Mapo’ is the top subscriber channel among Seoul’s autonomous district official YouTube channels. It has gained much love from residents by quickly posting various news and valuable information and broadcasting event sites live on YouTube.


Continuing its active communication efforts, Mapo-gu plans to enhance public relations effectiveness and get closer to residents through this YouTube event.


To enter the event, subscribe to ‘my Mapo,’ watch the desired video, click the ‘Like’ button, capture the subscription and ‘Like’ confirmation screen, and register it on the online Naver form.


The entry period is until June 3, and anyone can participate regardless of residence or age.


On June 5, Mapo-gu will use an Excel automatic drawing program to select 100 winners and send mobile gift certificates redeemable for ice cream via text message to the winners by June 7.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, “We are putting all our efforts into operating YouTube for residents’ right to know and active communication, so we hope for your great interest.” He added, “Mapo-gu will do its best to deliver district news and lifestyle information quickly and easily through not only YouTube but also various SNS and newsletters.”


Meanwhile, this year Mapo-gu plans to showcase innovative content on ‘my Mapo,’ such as video production of the district’s lifestyle guide ‘Mapo User Manual,’ live field communication with Mapo residents, and collaborations with Mapo TV video creators.
