Kang Hyung-wook, Silent Amid Power Abuse Controversy, Company Closure Rumors... Website States "Service Ends June 30" Dog trainer Kang Hyung-wook (39), who said he would make a statement through YouTube, ultimately remained silent without any explanation.

Currently, Kang Hyung-wook is under suspicion of abusing power against employees at his company, 'Bodeum Company.' On the 21st, a person identifying as a former employee of Bodeum Company, A, claimed on JTBC's 'Case Officer' that Kang Hyung-wook monitored employees through CCTV. A also alleged that Kang frequently said things like, "Don't even breathe. It's a waste for you to breathe," "You're worse than a bug. Just crawl away. Just die." There was also a claim that after resigning, A received a salary of only 9,670 won from Kang Hyung-wook.

This controversy arose from reviews on a job recruitment platform where current and former employees can evaluate the company. Bodeum Company's corporate rating was 1.7 out of 5 points. A former employee who left a review stated, "After leaving here, I have been continuously visiting a psychiatrist for panic disorder, anxiety disorder, and depression. The CEO, who is also my spouse, subjected me to continuous gaslighting, personal insults, and demands beyond work, which mentally exhausted me. They designated a messenger app and forced us to install it, monitoring messages without employee consent. They even used that information to harass employees."

The job platform, which became a venue for exposing these issues, has the drawback that posts can be made without verifying actual employment, so the truthfulness cannot be confirmed. Nevertheless, new allegations continued to surface one after another. On the 20th, a user commented on Kang Hyung-wook's YouTube video, claiming, "On days off, excessive errands were assigned, hard labor was ordered during heatwaves and heavy snow, and there were insults in front of the owners, among other worse things."

Netizens who were waiting for Kang Hyung-wook's explanation expressed their disappointment. Comments included, "He said he would do it today but didn't do the explanation broadcast," "The longer he delays, the more disadvantageous it will be," "At least release some kind of statement quickly," "Write an apology saying it will take more time. What is he doing making people wait?" and "Didn't he release a statement immediately during the sexual harassment case? When will he make a statement now?"
