25,940 Households Nationwide Move In June... 39% Decrease Compared to Previous Year

Next month, 25,940 apartment units nationwide will be occupied. This is a 39% decrease compared to the same month last year.

On the 22nd, Real Estate R114 announced that out of the 25,940 apartment units scheduled for occupancy nationwide in June, 15,029 units will be in the Seoul metropolitan area. The occupancy volume in Seoul and Incheon has decreased by more than 70% compared to last year. The regions with occupancy volumes are limited to 11 out of the 17 provinces nationwide.


83% (8,615 units) of the metropolitan area occupancy volume is concentrated in the southern Gyeonggi region. In Gyeonggi-do, 10 complexes with 10,335 units are scheduled for occupancy. Occupancy will begin at locations such as Pyeongchon Elfraud in Bisan-dong, Anyang (2,739 units), Hillstate Chowol Station 1 & 2 Blocks in Chowol-eup, Gwangju (1,097 units), and Dongtan Lake Park Nature & e-Pyeonhansesang (public sale, 1,227 units) in Jangji-dong, Hwaseong.


In Seoul, occupancy will begin at Gangdong Heritage Xi (1,299 units) in Gil-dong, Gangdong-gu. Gangdong-gu, which is highly preferred even within Seoul, has a cumulative occupancy volume of 3,082 units from January to June this year. In September, occupancy is expected to proceed at locations such as Gangdong Millennial Joongheung S-Class (999 units) in Cheonho-dong. There is a possibility of temporary adjustments in rental prices in adjacent areas such as Songpa-gu in Seoul, and Hanam and Seongnam in Gyeonggi-do.

In Incheon, occupancy will begin at 3 complexes with 3,395 units. These include The Sharp Arte (1,146 units) in Juan-dong, Michuhol-gu, and Hillstate Incheon City Hall Station (746 units) in Ganseok-dong, Namdong-gu.


In the provinces, 10,911 units will be occupied. This is the lowest occupancy volume in 1 year and 3 months since March last year (9,427 units). By region, occupancy will begin in ▲Daegu (2,540 units) ▲Busan (2,128 units) ▲Chungbuk (1,945 units) ▲Jeonnam (1,431 units) ▲Gyeongnam (1,053 units).


In Daegu, more than half of the occupancy volume is concentrated in Dalseo-gu (1,589 units), and in Busan, in Haeundae-gu (1,382 units). In Chungbuk, the volume has significantly increased compared to last month due to the occupancy of Cheongju SK View Xi (1,745 units), a reconstruction of Bongmyeong Jugong 1 Complex in Bongmyeong-dong, Cheongju. In Jeonnam, occupancy will begin at a total of 3 complexes with 1,431 units.


Major occupancy complexes include Dalseo SK View (1,196 units) in Bonri-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu; Define Centum (750 units) in Banyeo-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan; Ulsan New City Eileen's Garden Phase 2 (967 units) in Cheongnyang-eup, Ulju-gun, Ulsan; and Gimcheon Prugio The First (703 units) in Bugok-dong, Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk.
