2024 LG OLED Evo Receives High Praise

LG Electronics has been selected as the Home Entertainment Brand of the Year in the UK for five consecutive years, with its OLED TVs and soundbars.

On the 20th (local time), LG Electronics was named the "Home Entertainment Brand of the Year" at the "Which? Awards" hosted by the UK nonprofit consumer media outlet Which?. This recognition affirms LG as the top brand for TVs and AV products.

Which? announces the best brands in various categories each year based on evaluations from numerous experts and consumers. The assessment covers not only product performance but also customer service, value for money, innovation, and consumer satisfaction.

LG Electronics explained that its LG OLED TVs and soundbars were recognized for providing a differentiated customer experience. It noted that it has maintained the top brand position every year for five consecutive years since 2020.

Which? praised the LG OLED TV as "a perfect product with astonishing picture quality and outstanding sound."

LG OLED TVs and soundbars consistently received high scores in Which?'s performance evaluations. Among LG OLED TV models, the 65C3 model achieved the highest score of 79 points out of 294 evaluated models, sweeping ranks 1 through 6. LG soundbars also secured five spots in the top 10 among 126 performance-evaluated models.

Following this award, LG Electronics announced plans to further solidify its status as the top brand by leading with the 2024 models of OLED TVs and soundbars, which feature significantly enhanced AI performance.

The 'Alpha 11 Processor' applied to the 2024 LG OLED Evo was developed based on AI performance that is four times stronger than the previous Alpha 9. Graphics performance improved by 70%, and processing speed increased by 30%. This enables detailed analysis down to the pixel level within frames to upscale picture quality.

The 2024 LG soundbar analyzes sound reflections from the speakers using AI to detect the size and shape of indoor spaces and adjusts the sound to deliver more precise and rich surround sound.

UK media outlets gave high praise to the 2024 LG OLED Evo. The UK media outlet HDTVTest awarded the LG OLED Evo a "Highly Recommended" logo, calling it "the best TV consumers can find in 2024." The UK media outlet AVForum selected the G4 as the "Best OLED TV."
