In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 20th (local time), she earned 1.94 points, jumping 11 spots from 63rd last week. On the 19th, she defeated Lee Ye-won by 1 hole in the final of the KLPGA Tour Doosan Match Play (total prize money 900 million KRW) held at Radena Golf Club Nature·Garden Course (par 72, 6,384 yards) in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. This was her 5th career win, her first in 7 months since the SK Networks·Seoul Economic Ladies Classic last October, with a winner's prize of 225 million KRW. She also completely wiped away the disappointment of finishing as runner-up in this tournament last year.
Nelly Korda (USA), who achieved her 6th win of the season at the LPGA Tour Mizuho Americas Open, firmly held the No. 1 spot. She is ahead of 2nd place Lilia Vu (USA) by 6.80 points. C?line Boutier (France) is 3rd, Lin Xiyu (China) 4th, and Hannah Green (Australia) is in 5th place. In Korea, Ko Jin-young dropped one spot to 6th. Kim Hyo-joo is 11th, Yang Hee-young 19th, and Shin Ji-ae is 20th. Yoo Hae-ran is 27th, Lee Ye-won 31st, Kim Se-young 34th, Lim Jin-hee 38th, Park Ji-young 39th, and Bang Shin-sil is 40th.
