According to market research firm Omdia on the 21st, Samsung Electronics recorded a 29.3% share of global TV market revenue in the first quarter of this year, maintaining its No. 1 position. Samsung explained that it "maintained a gap of more than 10% from the second-ranked company."

At CES 2024, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, last January, Samsung Electronics declared this year as the "first year of the AI TV era."
Samsung stated, "It appears that the No. 1 market share was achieved in the first quarter due to strong sales of large-sized and premium products led by Neo QLED, as well as QLED and OLED."
In the premium TV market priced above $2,500 (approximately 3.4 million KRW), Samsung maintained the No. 1 position with a 53.2% revenue share. It also recorded a 55.2% share for TVs priced above $1,500 (approximately 2.05 million KRW).
In the large-sized market of 75 inches (screen diagonal length 189 cm) and above, Samsung achieved a dominant No. 1 position with a 29.6% market share. Strong sales of 98-inch models helped achieve a 34.4% share in the 80-inch and above segment.
Samsung OLED has surpassed 1.6 million units sold since 2022. It recorded a 27% share based on revenue, accounting for more than one-quarter of global OLED TV sales.
