Double Single Title Track Released on the 24th
Bouncy Hip-Hop Genre Electro Sound Song
The group 'NewJeans' is coming back with a lively hip-hop style music.
According to their agency ADOR on the 21st, NewJeans' new double single "How Sweet," set to be released on the 24th, is a hip-hop track based on Miami Bass with added stimulating electro sounds, giving it a sparkling feel.
Earlier, the NewJeans members hinted about "How Sweet" on the YouTube channel 'Hal Myungsoo' on the 17th, saying, "It's hip-hop that we haven't shown before. Please look forward to our new side."
"How Sweet" includes a total of four tracks: the title track of the same name, the B-side "Bubble Gum," and instrumental versions of each song. The single will be released at 1 PM on the 24th. The "How Sweet" music video will be unveiled at 4 PM on the same day.
ADOR explained, "We recommend fully enjoying the audio first before watching the music video. After watching the music video, please enjoy the new music and performance together through the first music show (Music Bank) that follows immediately."
NewJeans pre-released the full version of the "Bubble Gum" music video on the 27th of last month. Their challenge to approach the public solely through music and content was well received for its visual quality, ranking first for two consecutive weeks in the weekly popular music video category in Korea on YouTube. As of 9 AM on the day, the video has reached approximately 37 million views.
Before their comeback, NewJeans will appear on "Korea On Stage," broadcast on KBS 2TV this afternoon. As the first K-pop girl group, NewJeans will present a special stage at Geunjeongjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung Palace. Member Danielle will serve as the program's sole MC.
