Hana Securities analyzed on the 21st that Samsung SDS is a company capable of generating profits through generative AI.
Junho Lee, a researcher at Hana Securities, stated, "Samsung SDS launched enterprise generative AI services Fabric and Brity Copilot on the 2nd," and explained, "Fabric is a platform that applies large language models (LLM) trained with industry-specific terminology and existing data of client companies to their work."
He added, "It can fine-tune various LLMs such as OpenAI's GPT, Alphabet's Gemini, Naver's HyperCLOVA X, as well as open-source models like Meta's LLaMA and Upstage's SOLAR LLM to fit client company tasks."
He said, "Brity Copilot is a work solution that enhances client companies' work efficiency through features like video conference interpretation, email and messenger summarization, and script writing," and analyzed, "The potential of enterprise generative AI services was confirmed in the earnings announcements of the three cloud giants: Amazon, Microsoft, and Alphabet.
The researcher emphasized, "All three companies are showing contributions from enterprise generative AI to their cloud sales," and added, "Samsung SDS's strengths lie in Korean language-specialized AI services and flexible pricing models."
It is estimated that Samsung SDS will achieve sales of 13.5652 trillion KRW and an operating profit of 906.3 billion KRW this year, representing increases of 2.2% and 12.1%, respectively, compared to last year.
