Goheung Fire Station Selected as Best in 'Jeonnam Fire Equipment Management Status Evaluation'

The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Hong Young-geun) conducted the '2024 Fire Equipment Management Status Inspection and Evaluation,' and Goheung Fire Station was selected as the best.

According to Jeonnam Fire on the 20th, from April 8 to the 9th of this month, fire equipment management status inspections were conducted at 22 fire stations across the province.

As a result of the inspection, Goheung Fire Station was selected as the best, Hampyeong and Yeosu Fire Stations as excellent, and Gangjin, Gwangyang, and Boseong Fire Stations received encouragement awards.

The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters held an award ceremony for the excellent stations on the same day.

Chief Hong Young-geun said, "Please maintain fire equipment in optimal condition and strive to respond perfectly to any disaster."

Meanwhile, the 'Fire Equipment Management Status Inspection' is conducted annually to strengthen on-site response capabilities and establish an emergency dispatch posture through the establishment of an efficient fire equipment management system.

The main evaluation contents include ▲inspection, operation, and emergency response ability of fire vehicles ▲maintenance and management status of fire equipment ▲inspection of fire equipment management system input status ▲evaluation of breathing protection equipment management and operation status.

In particular, this evaluation improved the evaluation method to allow all staff to continuously strive to enhance their equipment inspection capabilities, and the inspection schedule was conducted confidentially.
