Entry to Kanagawa Nissan Stadium on the 25th-26th
Group Seventeen entered the massive stadium in Osaka, Japan, becoming one with 110,000 Carats (fandom name).
Seventeen successfully concluded their two-day performance on the 18th and 19th at Osaka Yanmar Stadium Nagai with the ‘Seventeen Tour ‘Follow’ Again to Osaka’. This was their first Japanese stadium tour, filling the venue with approximately 55,000 spectators per show.
During the concert, Seventeen appeared on a flying stage singing their hit song ‘Sonogong’, raising the excitement of the audience from the start. They filled 3 hours and 30 minutes with 28 songs including ‘Don Quixote’, ‘Applause’, ‘Don’t Wanna Cry’, ‘F*cking My Life’, ‘Left & Right’, ‘Beautiful’, ‘God of Music’, and ‘April Shower’.
A special stage was prepared exclusively for the Japan performance. The members performed the title track of their Japanese best album ‘Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow-’ along with Japanese versions of ‘Rock with You’, ‘Home;Run’, and ‘Gyeow’, eliciting cheers. The unique unit stages showcasing the individuality and skills of the Hip-Hop Team, Performance Team, and Vocal Team once again impressed Seventeen’s wide musical spectrum.
As the sun set, the atmosphere grew even hotter. The venue was dyed in Seventeen’s symbolic colors, Rose Quartz and Serenity, enhancing the audience’s immersion. A surprise event controlling the colors of the fans’ light sticks to display various phrases in the audience created a spectacular scene. Words like ‘SVT’, ‘CARAT (fandom name)’, and ‘おおきに’ (Osaka dialect meaning ‘thank you’) appeared across the vast seats, delivering overwhelming emotion to the Japanese audience.
The atmosphere reached its peak during the performance of Seventeen’s best album title track ‘Maestro’. Fans chanted the members’ names and sang along in Korean, enjoying the concert. The performance on the 18th was broadcast live in theaters across Japan, and on the 19th, an online live streaming was also held, receiving positive responses from global fans.
Especially on the second day, despite the rainy and gloomy weather, both Seventeen and Carats burned with passion, delivering a performance where ‘TEAM SVT’ became one. The members said, “We never even dared to dream of coming to a stadium. Even while on stage, it’s hard to believe this is real. Thank you for giving us the courage to move forward and dream even bigger,” and shared, “Seventeen is just getting started.”
Along with the stadium tour, the city-type concert Play Park ‘Seventeen Tour ‘Follow’ The City’ also offered various enjoyable experiences. Events using Seventeen’s IP were held at Osaka’s representative landmarks such as Dotonbori and Hep Five, attracting fans. Photo zones, digital stamp rallies, message boards, and other event locations were bustling with visitors.
Having successfully completed the Osaka performances, Seventeen will enter Kanagawa Nissan Stadium on the 25th and 26th. This is Japan’s largest venue, accommodating over 70,000 spectators per show, and Seventeen will become the second K-pop boy group ever to step onto this ‘dream stage’.
