New Slogan 'A Company Leading Customer Growth with AX'

LG Uplus has unveiled a new brand slogan that aims to drive growth for both customers and the company through artificial intelligence (AI) transformation.

On the 19th, LG Uplus announced its new brand slogan, ‘Growth Leading AX (AI Transformation) Company.’ This signifies a company that leads customer growth centered around AX, meaning it intends to spearhead customer growth through AX while also growing itself.
The new slogan focuses on AX as a core means for innovating customer experience (CX). The company’s existing vision, “A digital innovation company leading joyful changes in customers’ daily lives,” remains unchanged.
Earlier, on the 17th, LG Uplus held an online performance sharing meeting to review the previous quarter and share future business directions and plans with employees.
On that day, CEO Hwang Hyun-sik said, “We created the new brand slogan to emphasize becoming a company that leads digital innovation by focusing on digital transformation (DX) using AI,” adding, “As customer interest in AI and DX fields has recently increased, we felt the need to revise our communication strategy at the brand level.”
He explained, “‘Growth Leading’ is a reinterpretation of our vision’s ‘joyful changes in customers’ daily lives’ to fit the current era. Growth is the value that Generation MZ customers find most enjoyable, and growth is also the biggest issue for corporate customers (B2B). We intend to lead this growth.”
CEO Hwang further stated, “It is important to integrate AI into all areas of the company, including CX, DX, and platforms.” He identified three key keywords for growing into an AX company: ‘organizational imagination,’ which enables envisioning changes in customers’ lives and organizational immersion; ‘speed,’ which allows rapid execution; and ‘organizational culture,’ which facilitates collaboration to achieve these goals.
LG Uplus has traditionally conducted brand campaigns avoiding technical terms such as ‘changing customers’ daily lives.’ However, the newly revealed slogan directly expresses technology like AX, emphasizing the importance of AI.
Additionally, by using the phrase ‘Growth Leading,’ the company demonstrated its intention not merely to adapt to market changes but to lead market transformation.
Meanwhile, on the same day, LG Uplus shared its first-quarter financial results along with performance and plans for consumer and enterprise sectors. Notably, it also disclosed key tasks in the AI sector and its super-large AI strategy. Seong Jun-hyun, LG Uplus’s AI & Data Product Head (Senior Executive Vice President), stated, “Our goal is to apply AI to all company businesses and operations,” and reported the progress of four core tasks: ▲ AI Contact Center (AICC) for customer centers ▲ B2B AICC ▲ AI agents for mobile services ▲ Work agents for employees.
