- Eunmokseo, a clear and rich floral scent travels thousands of miles and is used as a raw material for the luxury perfume Chanel
- Wanggil Station Royal Park City Prugio, creation of fir forest red clay path suitable for barefoot walking
Large developer DK Asia announced that it will introduce a health-specialized apartment complex that takes care of residents' health every day by creating various themed luxury forests, specialized landscaping trees such as fir and hackberry, and the Royal Canal Avenue, a 400-meter-long main water feature within the first premium pilot complex of the resort special city, Royal Park City at Wanggil Station, which is being developed with a total of 21,313 households.
Additionally, the high-quality tree species Styrax japonicus, known for its clear and rich floral scent used as a raw material for Chanel perfumes, has been planted as garden trees within the complex for the first time in Korea, allowing residents to experience the fragrance of luxury within the complex.

In fact, DK Asia self-increased the construction cost by a whopping 123.3 billion KRW to develop the landscaping of Royal Park City at Wanggil Station not just as simple landscaping but as a landscaping heritage embodying the value of luxury, aiming to create a high-end apartment. Especially for landscaping, they are working with Samsung C&T Resort Division, a landscaping master with 60 years of landscaping business know-how, creating luxury urban landscaping that cannot be seen even in Gangnam reconstruction projects.
A 230-meter-long European-style central garden that makes residents feel as if they are in Europe has been created, and the landscaping floors of major themed spaces, connecting walking paths, and scenic points have been mulched to maintain soil structure while producing a unique visual effect, enhancing the luxury of the landscaping. High-quality tree species such as hackberry, large fir trees, Quercus dentata (large oak), and Metasequoia have been planted to create themed forests and themed paths within the complex, along with colorful embroidered flower beds. European-style fountains and water features, a tea house flowing with music and leisure, and various trees and shrubs that allow residents to fully enjoy all four seasons within the complex are also planted.
In particular, various themed luxury forests are being created within the Royal Park City at Wanggil Station complex. These include the Queens Garden designed as a European classic garden, a family glamping camping forest linked with the complex concierge system, a 140-meter-long loess path for barefoot walking through a fir forest, a large oak forest, and the Dome Forest, a special resting garden with a dome pergola.
Residents will have the special experience of walking barefoot through the forest. Reflecting the recent trend of Earthing, which means healing through contact with the earth, a 140-meter-long loess path has been created in the fir forest, which is highly useful as an urban garden tree. Through this, residents can enjoy forest bathing and wellness walks along the fir forest that emits phytoncides beneficial to the human body. A foot-washing station has also been installed in the fir forest so that residents can wash their feet cleanly after barefoot walking before returning to their units, showing thoughtful consideration.
The scale of Royal Park City at Wanggil Station is a large complex with 15 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, offering 1,500 households with exclusive areas of 59, 74, 84, and 99 square meters. The construction is carried out by Daewoo E&C, a renowned housing company, and the landscaping is managed by Samsung C&T Resort Division, Korea’s number one in landscaping, which upgraded the project further through last year’s construction cost increase. Move-in is scheduled for September this year, and the housing exhibition hall is located in Wanggil-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon.
Recently, a key feature of major new apartment complexes is landscaping specialization that makes landscaping exceptional. Along with splendid entrance gates and landmark exteriors, differentiated landscaping specialization is called the "face of the apartment" and is evaluated as showing the dignity of the complex.
In fact, major reconstruction complexes in the Gangnam area are focusing on landscaping to compete for landmarks. It is common to allocate hundreds of millions of KRW for landscaping specialization or to plant expensive pine trees worth over 100 million KRW within the complex.
The reason construction companies are leading landscaping specialization is to secure apartment competitiveness. Recently, the luxury and differentiation of apartments are often achieved through landscaping, following floor plans, finishing materials, and interiors.
Apartment complexes that have invested in landscaping not only increase resident satisfaction but also add the perception of being luxury apartments, positioning themselves as landmark apartments in the area.
A representative complex is "Geomam Station Royal Park City Prugio," supplied in Baekseok-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon. At the time of sale in 2021, it was the first domestic apartment complex to create a Caribbean Bay playground with water buckets and water cannons installed by Samsung C&T Everland landscaping team, attracting great attention with European-style fountains and European-style landscaping gardens seen in luxury resorts. It successfully completed sales by recording the highest number of applicants in Incheon at the time.
The currently completed "Geomam Station Royal Park City Prugio" has established itself as the leading apartment influencing the surrounding market prices.
In this regard, a real estate official said, "As apartment landscaping design also affects market prices, construction companies are rushing to specialize in landscaping. Especially, while interiors can be luxuriously changed through floor plans and interior design, landscaping within the complex is recognized as a part that cannot be easily changed due to the significant time and cost involved, so demand is focusing on high-end specialized landscaping."
