Samjong KPMG is collaborating with SAP Korea for the SAP S/4HANA cloud transition and new implementation projects in the public and financial sectors.
On the 17th, the cooperation signing ceremony was held at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, attended by Park Sang-won, Head of Consulting at Samjong KPMG, Shin Eun-young, CEO of SAP Korea, and other officials.
In South Korea, the public and financial sectors require mandatory government cloud security certifications, resulting in slower adoption of cloud ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) compared to the private sectors such as manufacturing and services, where adoption is more active.
Through this cooperation agreement, it is expected that synergy will be generated based on the regulatory compliance and implementation expertise accumulated over many years of reviewing government policies held by both companies.
Samjong KPMG plans to undertake the SAP S/4HANA cloud implementation projects in the public and financial sectors. SAP will provide technical and sales support. In particular, they plan to share information and resources necessary for acquiring and maintaining domestic certifications required for project execution, and will also mutually cooperate on business opportunities beyond the public and financial sectors.
Park Sang-won stated, “This cooperation agreement will be especially welcome news for domestic public and financial sector clients wishing to adopt cloud ERP,” adding, “SAP’s support for acquiring and maintaining domestic certifications, including technical and sales assistance, will be a great strength not only for Samjong KPMG but also for our clients.”
Shin Eun-young said, “This cooperation holds great significance as it provides an opportunity to accelerate the cloud transition in the public and financial industries through collaboration with Samjong KPMG.”
