Jeonnam’s ‘Naju City Consumer Complaint (Information) Center’ has relocated to the former Aegyeon Land.
According to Naju City on the 17th, the center was moved due to the demolition plan of the Geumnam-dong Administrative Welfare Center building where the existing center was located.
The Consumer Complaint Center, which plays the role of protecting consumers’ rational consumption habits, was established in January 1993 under the name ‘Naju City Complaint Center.’

For 31 years, it has contributed to the realization of consumer sovereignty through consumer protection and damage relief cases averaging about 2,000 annually, as well as consumer education, dispute resolution, and the promotion of local price stabilization policies.
In particular, it provides easy access to information on various problems consumers face in daily life to help solve issues, guides methods and procedures to resolve complaints and damages arising during the purchase or use of products, and offers damage relief.
The center’s operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and it can be accessed via phone or by visiting in person.
The relocated building houses the Geumnam-dong Residents’ Autonomy Committee on the 2nd floor, the Naju City Reserve Forces Unit on the 3rd floor, and the Naju City Forest Fire Response Center on the 4th floor.
A city official said, “If any problems arise related to consumer life, please feel free to visit the Consumer Complaint (Information) Center at any time,” adding, “We will continue to strive to enhance consumer rights so that consumers can truly become the main players in transactions.”
