Shin Gyeongju Station Area Public Development Co., Ltd. announced that from the 16th to the 22nd of this month, it will supply five commercial land parcels within the 1st phase project site of the KTX Gyeongju Station Area New Town to the general public through a lottery bidding method via the Korea Asset Management Corporation's Onbid platform.
Previously, in the 1st phase project, 98 single-family residential lots were sold out with a high competition rate (average 44:1, highest 393:1) in September 2020. Additionally, four commercial land parcels (average 16:1) and one parking lot parcel (3:1) supplied last April were also sold out.
Starting with 945 units of Desiang in July this year, followed by 1,490 units of Bando Ubora in January next year, 549 units of Hyosung Harrington Place, and 522 units of Cheonnyeonga Centum Sky, a total of 3,506 large-scale apartment units are nearing their move-in period. Furthermore, a large apartment complex with 1,530 units and a residential-commercial complex with over 600 units are planned to be added. Accordingly, the commercial land parcels being supplied this time are expected to secure a stable hinterland demand with a total of approximately 5,700 households and about 13,000 residents.
In particular, the complex transfer center, which will include key facilities such as a transfer parking lot, convention facilities, cultural and assembly facilities, and is a core facility of the 2nd phase project Haerum Platform City (selected as a Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport investment-leading district in December 2022), is planned to be located next to the commercial land parcels being supplied this time. Additionally, a nationwide rapid transportation network will be established, including the Gyeongbu High-Speed Line (KTX, SRT), the fully opening Central Line KTX-Eum (Cheongnyangni~Gyeongju~Busan) scheduled for December 2024, and the Donghae Line KTX-Eum (Gangneung~Gyeongju~Busan) connecting Gangwon Province to Busan.
The commercial land parcels are composed of five lots, each ranging from 1,485㎡ to 1,989㎡ in area, and can be utilized for large-scale shopping, sales, office, education, cinema, and other store facilities. They also have the advantage of being usable as accommodation facilities in response to the increasing demand for tourism in Gyeongju.
Details of the lottery bidding can be found on the Onbid platform and the KTX Shin Gyeongju Station Area New Town website, but actual lottery participation is only possible through the Onbid site. For more information, consultations are available at the KTX Gyeongju Station Area New Town promotional center.
