The Jeonbuk Jeongeup City Nongak Troupe announced on the 17th that they will hold the Sinmyeong Dokkaebi's Gogo-ssing (古鼓sing) performance at 10:30 AM and 7 PM on the 31st at the Jeongeupsa Arts Center.
This performance is a locally tailored planned show produced directly by the city Nongak troupe. It is a traditional play performance that allows audiences to enjoy the theme of moral retribution from the folktale Hokburi Yeonggam through Nongak and traditional performing arts, engaging both sight and sound.
The performance will showcase the artistic splendor of Jeongeup Nongak and present traditional attractions to children.
Admission is free for all seats, and entry is on a first-come, first-served basis starting 30 minutes before the performance. The show will last a total of 55 minutes.
A city official stated, “We will continue to hold various cultural performances that meet the expectations of our citizens to quench their cultural thirst and strive to promote the development of local culture and arts as well as improve the quality of life for our citizens.”
