The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byungil) held the "2024 Program for Addressing Blind Spots in Educational Welfare" delivery ceremony together with the Daegu Council on Social Welfare on the 16th, delivering a social contribution fund of 15 million won.
This social contribution activity was organized to provide equal educational opportunities to children and adolescents who use local community child centers after school, and to support cultural experience activities that may be restricted due to financial burdens.

Since 2012, the Korea Student Aid Foundation has operated the Smart Angels KOSAF, a staff knowledge volunteer group, carrying out various social contribution activities such as improving study rooms and providing one-on-one after-school tutoring for children and adolescents using welfare facilities.
In particular, this year marks the 15th anniversary of the foundation, and in cooperation with the Daegu Council on Social Welfare, the foundation plans to support cultural experience activities and educational supplies for children and adolescents using six local community child centers in Daegu, including Dong-gu, to help them grow up healthy.
Bae Byungil, Chairman of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, said, "I hope that children and adolescents, who are the future leaders, will grow up healthy and pursue their dreams," adding, "We will continue to carry out activities of mutual cooperation in the local community for neighbors in need."
Meanwhile, in addition to this social contribution activity, the Korea Student Aid Foundation plans to actively promote social contribution activities to address educational welfare blind spots in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, including support for self-reliant youth, educational support for abused children and children with pediatric cancer, and meal support for undernourished children during school vacations.
