Professor Yang Minjun Recognized for Groundwater Flux Measurement Technology
Wyble Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Minjun Yang and Jinyoung Park), a faculty startup company from Pukyong National University, has been recognized for its technological capabilities by developing innovative groundwater management measurement equipment and has received "Venture Company Certification."
This company obtained the certification through the Venture Company Verification System implemented by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The Venture Company Verification System is a program that discovers and supports companies that meet the requirements to be recognized as venture companies, demonstrating excellence in technological innovation and business growth potential.
Wyble Co., Ltd., co-headed by Professor Minjun Yang (Department of Environmental Geosciences) at Pukyong National University, was awarded the venture company certification after a comprehensive evaluation of its technological innovation, business growth, business model, patents, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Pukyong National University introduced Wyble as an innovative company conducting diverse research and product development in fields such as soil and groundwater, coastal marine environments, and climate change response to create a sustainable water environment. The company is leading the development of innovative technologies to address climate change, such as global warming, through research on CO2 geological storage and geological hydrogen productivity assessment.
In particular, Wyble is developing a fluxmeter device capable of measuring the flux of groundwater and contaminants for efficient groundwater management, which has become increasingly important due to surface water pollution and depletion.
With this selection as a venture company, Wyble Co., Ltd. will receive various government support, including up to five years of corporate tax reduction, additional points in various government support programs, and policy funds starting this year.
CEO Minjun Yang stated, "We will provide environmentally focused product development and services to realize a water-safe society where the public can enjoy water safely."
