"Contributing to Overcoming Low Birthrate: Gyeongbuk Sillarion Association Donates 15 Million Won, Bokju Co. Donates 10 Million Won"

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Sillarion Association (President Kim Jongho, CEO of Shinwoo PNC Co., Ltd.) visited the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government on the 17th and delivered a donation of 15 million KRW through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea to participate in overcoming the region's low birth rate.


The Gyeongbuk Sillarion Association was established to contribute to the development of the local economy by forming a mutual cooperation system among its 60 member CEOs of Sillarion-certified companies in Gyeongsangbuk-do and seeking ways to foster their brands.

President Kim Jongho said, "The low birth rate issue is a crisis facing not only Gyeongbuk but our entire country, and overcoming it will become a growth engine for the future of local small and medium-sized enterprises. I hope this donation will be of some help in overcoming the low birth rate problem."


Bokju Co., Ltd. (CEO Cho Taeyoung), a manufacturer of safe water tank composite new materials (SPEP integrated panels), also visited the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government on the same day and donated 10 million KRW to be used for overcoming the low birth rate issue.


Established in 2009, Bokju Co., Ltd. is a leading company in Gyeongsangbuk-do's water industry and has been designated as an innovative water company by the Ministry of Environment, specializing in the production of eco-friendly, high-performance water tanks and equipment.


CEO Cho Taeyoung said, "I empathize with the seriousness of the low birth rate issue and feel rewarded to be able to contribute, even in a small way, to overcoming this problem in the local community."


Gyeongbuk Governor Lee Cheolwoo said, "I would like to thank the companies and associations that have contributed to the fundraising campaign to solve the low birth rate problem. We will do our best to overcome the low birth rate issue with your valuable donations."
