Joint Reporting Desk Operation Until the End of This Month
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) is operating a joint filing counter for individual local income tax and comprehensive income tax in collaboration with Gangseo Tax Office until the end of this month to facilitate taxpayers' convenience.
Taxpayers (individuals or business owners) with comprehensive income for the year 2023 must file and pay individual local income tax and comprehensive income tax by the end of this month. However, taxpayers previously had the inconvenience of having to visit the tax office for comprehensive income tax (national tax) and the district office for individual local income tax (local tax).
In this regard, the district office is operating a joint filing counter to enable one-stop filing and payment. The filing counter is located in the small conference room on the basement level 1 of the district office main building.
At the "Assistance Counter," staff assist taxpayers by viewing the Hometax screen together and help those who are "Moduchaeum" eligible (small business owners who received a filing notice with the calculated tax amount to be paid) with their filing. Other taxpayers can prepare and submit their tax returns by themselves at the separately prepared "Self-Preparation Counter." If they have difficulty preparing the forms, they can receive help from the staff.
If there is no objection to the Moduchaeum payment slip, payment using the enclosed payment slip will be recognized as filing. For more details, please contact the Local Income Tax Teams 1 and 2, Taxation Division 2, Gangseo District Office.
