Gochang-gun to Host 'Flower Garden Healing Culture Festival' from 24th to 26th

Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, and the Gochang Cultural City Center announced on the 16th that they will hold the ‘Gochang Flower Garden Healing Culture Festival’ from the 24th to the 26th at the Flower Garden Complex.

Under the theme of ‘Healing Picnic Enjoyed in the Flower Garden,’ various healing culture programs will be operated to offer moments of healing experienced through rest combined with the beauty of nature and culture.

Visitors to the flower garden, a healing space in nature, will be able to enjoy various flower-themed experiential programs such as a flower field walking trail, a picnic zone within the flower field, and a Mind Garden program that fills the heart with flowers.

In collaboration with the Agricultural Technology Center, various programs will also be held, including a healing agriculture symposium with local healing farms, an exhibition of healing agriculture stories, and herb planting experiences.

The detailed festival schedule includes stage programs (opening ceremony, classical concert with flowers, performances by local artists, children’s concert), experiential programs (soft and fluffy flower making, flower frame making, flower field photo shoot, face painting, collaborative flower garden drawing), healing programs (healing agriculture symposium, healing agriculture stories, operation of healing garden plots), and permanent programs (healing culture city promotion zone, Bellygom photo zone, pet healing zone, healing picnic zone).

County Governor Shim Deok-seop said, “This festival aims to normalize healing culture through cultural experiences shared within the relationship between nature and healing, themed around flowers and healing agriculture,” and added, “We ask for much interest and participation in this festival where you can empathize with and feel the valuable healing culture of Gochang.”
