KT-Lotte Game Hosts 'S-Oil Sponsor Day'
KT and Pro Baseball Regular Season Joint Marketing in 3rd Year
Anwar Al Hizazi, CEO of S-Oil, served as the ceremonial first pitcher at the KT Wiz home game, a professional baseball team sponsored by S-Oil, on the 14th.
S-Oil announced on the 15th that at the professional baseball game between KT Wiz and Lotte Giants held at KT Wiz Park in Suwon City on that day, CEO Anwar Al Hizazi wore the number 951 jersey symbolizing S-Oil's mascot 'Gudoil' and threw the ceremonial first pitch wishing for victory. KT Wiz won the game with a comeback score of 7 to 4.
S-Oil has been conducting joint marketing for the professional baseball regular season with KT Wiz for three consecutive years to promote their brand. This was the first time the S-Oil CEO threw the ceremonial first pitch during the marketing period.

On the same day, S-Oil also held the 'S-Oil Sponsor Day' event on site. S-Oil mascots 'Gudoil' and 'Gumiso' participated in the cheering event, performing lively dances, and actively communicated with spectators through on-screen events on the electronic scoreboard.
S-Oil plans to post videos for KT Wiz fans on its YouTube channel starting from the 21st and hold an event giving away KT Wiz game tickets linked to the videos.
An S-Oil official said, "As the number of professional baseball spectators breaks records every year, we wanted to provide enjoyment and memories to the audience through joint marketing," adding, "We hope S-Oil's progressive and dynamic image is well conveyed."
