President Yoon Suk-yeol stated on the 15th, in celebration of Buddha's Birthday, "I and the government will devote all our efforts to creating a warm and happy society."
In a Facebook message that day, President Yoon said, "Happy Buddha's Birthday in the year 2568 of the Buddhist calendar," and added, "Following the great teachings of Buddha, we will pay closer attention to those in need and devote all our efforts to creating a warm and happy society."
He continued, "I join my hands in prayer that Buddha's compassion and light fill the entire land."
