Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) is accelerating efforts to achieve a transparent and clean "First-class Integrity City Gangseo."
As the first step, on the 14th, a "Integrity Policy Promotion Team" was formed for executives at grade 5 and above, and the first meeting was held.
At the meeting chaired by Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon, the progress of last year's integrity policy was reviewed, and the future direction was discussed in depth.
Mayor Jin emphasized the importance of leading by example among senior officials and implementing integrity policies that employees can feel in order to achieve transparent district administration trusted by both residents and staff.
Mayor Jin said, "To realize Gangseo trusted by both residents and employees, senior officials must first have a strong will for integrity and put it into practice," and urged, "Please continue to strive to spread an honest organizational culture." He added, "The most important core in promoting substantial integrity policies is securing fairness and voluntary participation of employees," and said, "We will implement effective integrity policies that all employees can empathize with and feel."
The district established the "2024 Comprehensive Integrity Improvement Promotion Plan" with "fairness" as the greatest fundamental principle. Accordingly, three major promotion strategies have been prepared: ▲ Establishing an integrity management system ▲ Settling an integrity culture through leading by example ▲ Creating a fair local community, and plans to carry out 27 core tasks.
Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "We will improve the integrity awareness of residents and employees by promoting effective integrity policies based on communication and empathy," and added, "We will do our utmost to realize Gangseo as the number one place for integrity."
