All-day Oxfield CC Opens 'Okdabang' for 70s and 80s Nostalgia

All Day Golf Group's All Day Oxfield CC has become a hot topic by opening 'Okdabang,' the first place in Korea to evoke memories of the 70s and 80s.

On the 14th, it announced that it created a 'Retro Photo Zone' by utilizing an unused shade house to communicate with customers. 'Okdabang' was introduced at the shade house of the 6th hole on the field course. The concept is based on the 70s and 80s. It was designed with three themes that allow visitors to glimpse 'dabang' (traditional Korean tea rooms), 'school days,' and 'the culture & lifestyle of that time.' There is a music box playing nostalgic songs, and at the entrance of the dabang, there are old wooden chairs and a vintage public telephone.

Inside the dabang, it is decorated with various props such as a 1970s rotary phone, 1980s matchboxes and ashtrays, barley tea cups used in old dabangs, a TV, LP records, a typewriter, a camera, elementary school textbooks from the 70s, weekly magazines from the 80s, desks and chairs, and bags. The dabang's menu and price list were installed using recycled wood, and the lettering on the menu follows the style of dabangs from that era exactly. Interesting props include movie posters and advertising frames. There is also a 'seat of reflection.'

CEO Choi Chang-ho explained, "We thought hard about giving fun and emotion to customers visiting the golf course," adding, "We hope that in this small space called the shade house, memories are evoked and that visitors can laugh and enjoy themselves with their companions, even if only for a short time." All Day Golf Group operates four golf courses: Chungju Imperial Lake CC, Royal Foret, All Day, and Oxfield CC. Oxfield CC, located in Hoengseong, Gangwon-do, is a course renowned for its gentle natural forest scenery.
