Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) held the "1st GH ESG Management Committee" on the 14th at the Gwanggyo Complex Facility Hall in Gyeonggi-do.
At the ESG Management Committee held that day, GH reviewed and approved the ESG Innovation Management Promotion Plan for this year. Additionally, among the 93 detailed ESG implementation tasks derived by each department, reports were given on the creation of the 'WE Dream Park' for spatial welfare and carbon neutrality realization, and on the research of a housing support model responding to low birth rates.
WE Dream Park refers to a park where nature, local communities, and schools are continuously connected based on a smart park management system.
Now in its third year since its launch, the GH ESG Management Committee consists of a total of 15 internal and external members, including ESG experts from academia, labor directors, and customer representatives. Through quarterly meetings, it performs roles such as reviewing, approving, advising, and inspecting important matters related to GH's ESG management and operational plans.
Kim Se-yong, President of GH, stated, "As I enter the second year of innovative management since my inauguration, I will strive to further strengthen ESG management to contribute to sustainable urban development and community advancement."
