Leading the Establishment and Expansion of Proactive Administration in National Tax Administration
The Busan Regional Tax Office (Commissioner Kim Dong-il) held the ‘Active Administration Leader Appointment Ceremony and Commitment Resolution Ceremony’ on the 14th to play a pivotal role in leading the establishment and expansion of proactive administration in national tax administration.
The active administration leaders appointed on this day were selected from employees with rich experience and capabilities. They are responsible for managing the implementation of proactive administration tasks in various fields of the regional office and each tax office, as well as discovering best practices.
Following the appointment ceremony, the ‘Commitment Resolution Ceremony’ presented the direction for proactive administration at the Busan office under the slogan, “Approaching Proactive Administration! Trusted National Tax Administration!”
They also pledged to take the lead in implementing “national tax administration trusted by the public” by performing preemptive and proactive administration for the people based on expertise and creativity, reaffirming their commitment to action.
Commissioner Kim Dong-il stated, “The active administration leaders appointed today should review the work of the National Tax Service once again from the public’s perspective and strive to establish a demand-centered work process rather than administrative convenience. I hope they actively practice to realize a trusted national tax administration as a public service that enhances internal work efficiency and resolves public inconveniences.”
The Busan Regional Tax Office won the grand prize and other awards at the 2023 National Tax Service Active Administration Best Practice Competition for resolving the gift tax issue on 204 households in low-income apartments under 24 pyeong, which had suffered for 25 years due to the construction company’s bankruptcy, thereby realizing an impressive tax administration.
