KPS Reports 31.7 Billion KRW in 1Q Revenue and 3.4 Billion KRW Operating Profit... Turned Profitable Compared to Previous Year

KPS's operating performance for the first quarter of this year (January to March) has turned positive compared to the same period last year. Consolidated and standalone operating profits were tentatively recorded at 3.4 billion KRW and 427 million KRW, respectively.

According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 14th, KPS's consolidated sales grew 202% year-on-year to 31.08 billion KRW. Operating profit and net profit also turned positive compared to the previous year, reaching 3.432 billion KRW and 3.034 billion KRW, respectively.

On a standalone basis, operating results also turned positive. Sales increased to 2.604 billion KRW from 959 million KRW the previous year, and operating profit and net profit recorded gains of 427 million KRW and 7.183 billion KRW, respectively.

KPS stated, "With orders for next-generation OLED production line equipment starting and the rapid growth of our comprehensive battery recycling subsidiary, the performance graph for this year is expected to show a steep upward curve."
