Prosecutor General Lee Won-seok refrained from commenting on the personnel changes of chief prosecutors carried out the previous day when asked about his stance on the 14th.

On his way to work that morning, Lee met with reporters and was asked, "There was a prosecution personnel reshuffle yesterday. Was it true that you had sufficient prior consultation with the Prosecutor General?" He replied, "I will not say anything further about the chief prosecutor personnel changes made yesterday."

Around the prosecution, it is speculated that although consultations between Prosecutor General Lee and the Ministry of Justice took place over the past weekend ahead of the sudden high-ranking prosecution personnel reshuffle, Lee's opinions were likely not significantly reflected.
