Changwon Special City Completes Naeseo Jungri Public Parking Tower ... "No More Parking Worries"

On the 13th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a completion ceremony at the Naeseo Jungri Public Parking Tower, located at 1049-2 Jungri, Naeseo-eup, Masanhwoin-gu, with about 100 guests and local residents in attendance.

The ‘Naeseo Jungri Public Parking Tower’ was transformed into a parking tower with 3 above-ground floors and 4 levels (total area 3,209㎡), accommodating 113 parking spaces (including 3 for the disabled and 2 for electric vehicles), by investing a total project cost of 6.5 billion KRW in 2020 as part of the parking environment improvement project to address the poor parking conditions in Jungri, Naeseo-eup. The parking tower is scheduled to undergo a trial operation starting on the 14th, followed by paid operation.

With the completion of the Naeseo Jungri Public Parking Tower, it is expected to greatly contribute to improving residents’ convenience by providing a pleasant parking environment service to visitors of the Naeseo-eup Administrative Welfare Center, Naeseo-eup Health Branch, and local residents.

Residents attending the event unanimously expressed that they had always experienced inconvenience due to insufficient parking spaces, but with the construction of this parking tower, a long-standing community demand has been resolved. They also noted that the design harmonizes with the surrounding environment of Naeseo-eup, establishing itself as a landmark in the area and helping to revitalize the local economy.
