The Daejeon Fire Headquarters will conduct special vigilance duty at traditional temples from the 14th to the 16th in celebration of Buddha's Birthday.

The Daejeon Fire Headquarters plans to proactively respond to large-scale fires by stationing six fire trucks and over 40 firefighting personnel near eight major temples, including Gwangsusa, where the Buddha's Birthday celebration events are held.

They will also carry out duties such as command post operations by fire station chiefs, preemptive removal of fire hazards within traditional temples, and training on the use of emergency fire extinguishing equipment to prevent forest fires at temples located in forested areas.

A representative of the Daejeon Fire Headquarters stated, "We will do our best to ensure a safe event by thoroughly preparing for fires and visitor safety accidents."
