Taekwang Industrial and Daehan Hwasum Launch Ultra-fine Fiber Product 'Acefine'

Targeting the Vehicle Interior Materials Market

Taekwang Group's textile and petrochemical affiliates, Taekwang Industrial and Daehan Chemical Fiber, announced on the 13th the launch of 'ACEFINE,' an ultra-fine fiber product for vehicle interior materials.

ACEFINE is a product with a thickness of 0.05~0.2 dpf, which is 1/100 the thickness of a human hair, offering both durability and excellent volume. It has superior stain resistance and is eco-friendly as it can replace synthetic leather.

Ultra-fine fiber products are widely used in areas where durability is important, such as automotive headliners and car seat fabrics, due to their excellent shock absorption. Leveraging the softness of the material, they can also be broadly applied in interiors, golf gloves, women's blouses, and more. Their excellent absorbency also makes them suitable for use in cleaning products.

Taekwang Industrial and Daehan Chemical Fiber plan to first enter the vehicle interior materials market with ACEFINE and then expand into various fields such as cleaning supplies.

A marketing team official from Taekwang Industrial stated, "ACEFINE is a premium material with various advantages including texture, absorbency, and eco-friendliness," adding, "Starting with this, we plan to actively expand our market share in the ultra-fine fiber market."
