MUSINSA announced that it will exclusively release the 2024 Spring·Summer capsule collection of ‘DEINET,’ the new brand by former CEO Kim Da-in, on the 13th. This marks the first time the collection will be available through a distribution channel other than its own online mall.
Former CEO Kim Da-in is a figure who led the golden age of the domestic women's designer fashion market, gaining great popularity among women in their 20s and 30s with her brand 'Matang Kim.'
The brand name is a compound of ‘DEIN,’ the German-style spelling of Kim Da-in’s name, and ‘ET,’ a German conjunction meaning ‘and.’ It is characterized by minimal and classic designs, completed with refined and witty details to present highly polished silhouettes.
DEINET recorded sales of approximately 1 billion KRW within about a month after its launch in February, thanks to the strong fandom and unique sensibility of former CEO Kim Da-in.
This capsule collection, ‘New Realization,’ focuses on timeless, natural styles that anyone, regardless of age or gender, can easily wear. Additionally, freely transformed logos and unique graphics created through embroidery and painting add to the overall charm of the designs.
