Gwanak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Jun-hee) is publicly recruiting candidates for the 'Young Artist Exhibition Support Project,' which aims to promote local cultural and artistic development and support young artists, until the 20th of this month.
Gwanak-gu implements various projects to help young artists realize their potential. Among them, the 'Young Artist Exhibition Support Project' is a new initiative introduced by the district this year to revitalize the visual arts culture within the district and support the career development of young artists.
Selected candidates will receive project funding of up to 2.5 million KRW per team (or individual) for a total of four teams, covering expenses such as ▲artwork production costs ▲transportation fees ▲promotion costs ▲rental fees.
Eligible applicants are young visual arts practitioners who reside or live in Gwanak-gu and are preparing to hold an exhibition in Gwanak-gu between August and November of this year. Exhibition fields include all areas of visual arts such as ▲fine arts (painting, design, crafts) ▲photography ▲comics.
The application period is until the 20th of this month. Interested young artists should submit the application form, project plan, artwork portfolio, and other related documents via email to the person in charge.
