Two Injured and One Dead After Stabbing Over 'Gwolligeum Dokchok'... 40s Suspect Arrested on the Spot

A man in his 40s who fatally attacked a former tenant with a weapon demanding a key money payment was arrested by the police.

According to the Gimhae Western Police Station in Gyeongnam on the 11th, Mr. A is suspected of stabbing the former tenant Mr. B with a weapon at a cafe in Gimhae City around 9:50 a.m., killing him and injuring Mr. C, an acquaintance of Mr. B.

Mr. A was caught on the spot by police who responded to a citizen’s report after witnessing the incident outside the cafe.

Mr. B, who was stabbed in the neck and other areas, was taken to the hospital but eventually passed away.

Mr. C, who was injured in the arm while trying to stop the attack, is reported to be in stable condition without life-threatening injuries.

It is understood that Mr. A became enraged and wielded the weapon after Mr. B, with whom he had financial disputes during the process of taking over the restaurant, pressured him to repay the key money on that day.

The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant after conducting a thorough investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident with Mr. A.
