Gyeonggi-do, 'Social Economy Organization Products Entry' in 66 Stores Including Consumer Cooperative Associations

Gyeonggi Province is promoting the entry of 'social economy organization' products into 66 stores of 13 consumer cooperatives within the province.


On the 10th, Gyeonggi Province Corporation announced on the 11th that it signed the "Gyeonggi Province Corporation-Partner Store Promotion Support Agreement for Entry of Excellent Products from Gyeonggi Province Social Economy Organizations into Offline Distribution Channels and Expansion of Sales Routes" with companies entering 13 partner stores in attendance.


A total of 13 organizations participated in the agreement, including Goyang Paju Dure Consumer Cooperative and Anyang YMCA Consumer Cooperative. Through this business agreement, Gyeonggi Province Corporation plans to place social economy organization products in the 66 offline stores they operate.


This year, Gyeonggi Province Corporation is carrying out four projects to revitalize the social economy: ▲support for online sales channels for social economy ▲support for sales channels in cooperation with large distribution channels ▲support for operating base stores ▲support for activating purchases of social economy enterprises.


Lee Seung-rok, Acting CEO (Standing Director) of Gyeonggi Province Corporation, stated, "We will do our best to accelerate the revitalization of the social economy within the province through this agreement."


Son Jeong-eun, Team Leader of Gyeonggi Province Social Economy Expansion Team, promised, "Gyeonggi Province is also doing its best for the growth of social economy organizations, and we will strive to make social economy organization products available in more diverse and numerous places."


Kim Min-ho, Executive Director of Jumin Dure Consumer Cooperative, who represented the partner stores, said, "I hope that through this agreement, we can combine our efforts to achieve the revitalization of the social economy in Gyeonggi Province."
