Park Chandae and Hwang Unha Meet... "Agreement on Joint Response to Prosecution Reform"

Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, met with Hwang Woon-ha, the floor leader of the Joguk Innovation Party, on the 10th and agreed to jointly respond to prosecution reform.

On the morning of the same day, Park visited Hwang at the National Assembly Members' Office Building and said, "I want to have a truly wonderful competition of reform and innovation with the Joguk Innovation Party." He added, "We experienced in the 21st National Assembly the lesson that if we do not reform and are not fair, it affects competitiveness," and said, "In the 22nd National Assembly, we will not give up either reform or livelihood, which are two sides of the same coin."

In response, Hwang said, "I have high expectations for Floor Leader Park's statement that he will show the image of a reform National Assembly, and I agree that reform is livelihood and livelihood is reform," adding, "I fully agree that the failure of prosecution reform led to prosecution dictatorship, prosecution dictatorship led to political disappearance, and political disappearance caused livelihood collapse." He also added, "We will show the public good legislative cooperation (with the Democratic Party) for livelihood and reform."
