Over 500 Attend Korean Language Institute, Introduction to Department and International Student Support Programs
Special Admissions for New and Transfer International Undergraduates from May 22 to June 5
The Office of External and International Affairs at Dong-A University (Director Park Hyun-tae) successfully held the '2024 Academic Year Second Semester Undergraduate Foreign New and Transfer Student Orientation.'
Donga University held an information session for foreign undergraduate new and transfer admissions for the second semester of the 2024 academic year.
This orientation was held over the past two days at Kyungdong Hall on the Bumin Campus, targeting about 500 intermediate-level or higher language training students enrolled in the Dong-A University Korean Language Institute who are eligible to advance to degree programs.
During the orientation, the International Exchange Department of Dong-A University provided useful information necessary for international students to enroll in degree programs, while also offering detailed guidance on opportunities to gain rich and diverse experiences.
In particular, through introductions to various departments, special programs for international students, differentiated scholarship systems, and presentations by outstanding foreign student seniors, the orientation received positive responses by presenting career planning strategies and admission guides tailored for international students.
Student Bueldekamp Ninke (Netherlands, Korean Language Institute Intermediate Class 2-5), who attended the orientation, said, “The information about the university and department programs was substantial and very helpful,” adding, “It was a great opportunity to learn about admission application information in advance through the orientation. It greatly helped with my career planning.”
Director Park said, “More important than attending a good school is the attitude of doing your best wherever you are,” and added, “If international students enroll at Dong-A University, the school will also do its best to support your successful study abroad life.”
The special admission schedule for the 2024 academic year second semester undergraduate foreign new and transfer students at Dong-A University is from the 22nd of this month to the 5th of next month, and the special admission for graduate foreign students is ongoing from the 1st to the 22nd of this month.
