In particular, the drill focused on developing the disaster response system through organic cooperation among civilian, government, and military sectors by applying a disaster command system identical to actual disaster response methods.

To systematically check the emergency rescue response system, 22 agencies including emergency rescue organizations and emergency rescue support organizations participated, with 47 pieces of equipment and about 210 personnel.

The drill applied standard operational procedures for disaster sites throughout the exercise, aiming to solidify the disaster response system and check the operation status of the Emergency Rescue Control Team and emergency rescue support organizations, including the establishment of an integrated response system among support agencies during disaster occurrence.

Chief Hong Young-geun stated, “We will strengthen our response capabilities to complex disaster situations through drills that simulate real situations,” and added, “We will continue to maintain cooperation among emergency rescue support organizations through repetitive training in the future.”
