LiveTone Wins Arts Award at Baeksang Arts Awards for Film 'Pamyo'

Content company Dexter Studio announced on the 9th that its sound-specialized subsidiary LiveTone received the Artistic Award in the film category at the '60th Baeksang Arts Awards.' Sound supervisor Kim Byung-in, who was responsible for the sound design of the film "Pamyoh," received the award.

Supervisor Kim Byung-in said, "When director Jang Jae-hyun and music director Kim Tae-sung joked that we might win an award while we were deeply focused on the sound work for Pamyoh, I was very surprised," adding, "It is a great honor to be on the Baeksang stage and receive the Artistic Award for sound work."

LiveTone put a lot of effort into the completeness of the work. From the early production stages, they introduced Dolby Atmos sound to provide the audience with a vivid theater experience. To highlight the eerie characteristics of the entity, they designed cross-mixed sound to be heard through speakers installed all around.
