"Support for SMEs and Small Business Owners"... SC Jeil Bank's Special Contribution of 600 Million Won to Daegu Shinbo

Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation (Chairman Park Jin-woo) announced on the 9th that it has signed a 'Mutual Growth Financial Support Agreement for Manufacturing and Wholesale Industries' with SC First Bank to facilitate financial support for companies engaged in manufacturing and wholesale businesses in the Daegu area.

According to this agreement, SC First Bank will make a special contribution of 600 million KRW to Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation, the first of its kind nationwide, and Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation will implement a special contribution guarantee agreement worth 9 billion KRW, which is 15 times the amount, starting from the 13th.

The support targets are small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners registered in Daegu City who are engaged in manufacturing or wholesale businesses and are experiencing management difficulties due to high interest rates, etc. Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation will provide preferential guarantee rates (90~100%) and preferential guarantee fees (fixed annual rate of 0.9%) to help alleviate the financial burden of small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners facing management difficulties amid the economic downturn crisis.

Park Jin-woo, Chairman of Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation, said, “We will implement rapid guarantee supply to help the economic recovery of manufacturing and wholesale companies in the region,” and added, “We will strive to further expand the mutual growth financial support guarantee through close cooperation with financial institutions.”
