Office Media Company SpaceAd Selected for Credit Guarantee Fund's 'Pre-ICON' Program

Up to 3 Billion KRW Credit Guarantee and Management Support, Technical Consulting Provided Over 3 Years
Media Device and Content Provider for Over 400 Buildings Including Key Office Areas

Office media company SpaceAd announced on the 9th that it has been selected as a Pre-ICON company by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund. SpaceAd will receive credit guarantees worth 3 billion KRW over three years, along with support for promotional capabilities through broadcasting linkage including YouTube, advertising expenses, management support, and technical consulting.

Pre-ICON companies are selected from innovative startups that are in the early stage of high growth entry or within 2 to 10 years of establishment, just before being selected as Innovation ICONs. This is a scale-up program operated by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund targeting startups with excellent technological performance and innovation at different growth stages.

Founded in 2017, SpaceAd installs and operates office media in prime office buildings. Last month, it installed a total of 33 media units, including a 65-inch two-tier media display, in the ultra-high-rise ASEM Tower in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It has secured contracts with over 400 buildings, focusing on landmark buildings representing key office districts in Seoul and the metropolitan area, such as the Concordian Building in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, Park One in Yeouido, and Tech One Tower in Pangyo, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Last year, SpaceAd attracted 7.3 billion KRW in Series C investment from investors including Altos Ventures, Arc Impact Asset Management, and Hanwha Investment & Securities, recognizing the company’s value at approximately 80 billion KRW.
