Drap Signs Supply Contract with BGF Retail

Generative AI startup 'Drap' announced on the 9th that it has signed a supply contract with BGF Retail, which operates CU convenience stores.

Under this contract, Drap's AI image automatic generation technology will be used to create product images for the commerce app PocketCU and CU convenience store operations. It is expected to reduce the fixed time and cost involved in product image production.

After signing a proof of concept (PoC) contract last year and conducting several months of solution implementation tests, Drap confirmed an improvement in product recognition and target extraction accuracy exceeding 98%, leading to this contract.

DrapArt is an AI solution for automatic shopping mall image creation that automatically generates various types of product images needed for shopping mall operations.

It supports not only image generation functions such as removing the background of the original image and newly creating backgrounds, props, lighting, and shadows, but also AI model generation functions like replacing mannequins with real people or changing the faces of existing models to various ethnicities.

Meanwhile, Drap launched an automatic advertisement banner generation feature last month. By inputting only basic information such as product name, concept, and banner size, the AI automatically creates not only images but also copy.
