In response, Gu In-mo, the Governor of Geochang-gun, personally proposed that related agencies and staff from the county visit the National Agricultural Museum together, thus taking the first step in establishing a linked cooperative relationship between the two institutions.

On the 8th, they visited the Bubble Exhibition Hall in Imbul Village, Namsang-myeon, which was created and is operated directly by residents as part of Geochang-gun’s village development project, as well as the Village Life Record Hall in the Hangiri area of Ungyang-myeon and the Bongusan Bookstore. They expressed their intention to actively cooperate in promoting the organic complex to museum visitors in collaboration with Geochang-gun in the future.

Governor Gu stated that through the visit of the National Agricultural Museum Director to Geochang-gun, they will further solidify the mutual cooperative relationship between the two institutions by holding exhibitions themed around Geochang apples and agricultural specialties at the National Agricultural Museum.

Meanwhile, the National Agricultural Museum is located in Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province, and opened on December 16, 2022, to inform the entire nation about the public functions of agriculture and rural areas through agricultural-related exhibitions, education, and experiential activities.
