7,392 Passers of GED for Elementary, Middle, and High School Graduates in Gyeonggi-do... Pass Rate 90.04% Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education

This year, the number of successful candidates for the first elementary, middle, and high school equivalency exams in the Gyeonggi region was recorded at 7,392. This means that 90.04% of the total 8,210 examinees passed.


The number of successful candidates by level is 841 for elementary, 1,525 for middle, and 5,026 for high school equivalency. The number of perfect scorers by level is 20 for elementary, 6 for middle, and 67 for high school equivalency.


The oldest successful candidates were 79 years old for elementary, 84 years old for middle, and 81 years old for high school equivalency. The youngest successful candidates were 11 years old for elementary, 12 years old for middle, and 12 years old for high school equivalency.


Pass status and scores for the equivalency exams can be checked on the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education website.


Equivalency exam (subject) pass certificates and score transcripts can be issued online through Government24 after identity verification. They can also be obtained by visiting the administrative office of a nearby elementary, middle, or high school, or the education support office.


Jimi-sook, Director of the Lifelong Education Division at the Provincial Office of Education, stated, "We support out-of-school youth and adult learners who have acquired academic qualifications through the equivalency exams to pursue new dreams such as advancing to higher education based on this achievement."
